Some new Spider-Man 3 reports involving Doc Ock and the potential return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Cyberpunk 2077 came out and it's performance on PS4 & Xbox One is abysmal (just like we said it would be), the Scott Pilgrim game re-release has been delayed, a Republican senator wants to make getting a DMCA strike a felony and so much more. And to top off the busiest pop culture week of the year, we still have some hot takes for some other news stories of the week. We're going over all the winners, all the new games announced and why the show was a failure as an awards show that is supposed to be taken seriously. The so-called Oscars of gaming took place and gave us a show of new video game announcements with some awards mixed in. That's not even mentioning the adult stuff from Disney owned brands like Fox and Hulu. We're getting new movies and a plethora of new content on Disney Plus. We have an overload of Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar and other stuff to go over. Disney spent an entire day announcing dozens of projects from all their brands. Thanks to The Game Awards being on the exact same day as Disney Investor Day, this is the longest episode of the podcast ever. And finally we go over all the pop culture news of the week like Gearbox being purchased, No Time to Die undergoing reshoots, MLB The Show no longer being a PlayStation exclusive, we go over the Golden Globe nominations and give our thoughts and we also address the Royal Rumble controversy regarding Alexa Bliss. We have a review of The Medium and a review of Destruction All-Stars. We also have not one but two video game reviews, that's right double review. Godzilla vs Kong aren't the first characters to crossover and fight each other (although they might actually be the first ones) and we're telling you all about these knockdown, drag out battles. This week, in honor of the Godzilla vs Kong trailer rocking our world a couple weeks ago, we're going over other famous crossover battles from pop culture history. With a new season comes a complete overhaul of the podcast and by complete overhaul we mean that now we have sound effects that we can overuse. It's the super sized season 2 premiere of Culture Popped.

TVTROPES BIOSHOCK 2 WINDOWS
After all, if we can't spend an entire Halo match shooting fruit then why are we even playing? If we can't spend our time in Back 4 Blood shooting car windows instead of zombies, why even play? If a video game has a villain that is a bad person, why can't we take them out of the game? Media doesn't do enough to cater to our personal preferences and this episode we're discussing why that's wrong. The modern video game has a major issue with not making tiny details that no one will notice as realistic as possible and we're here to complain about why they should.
